Our current special exhibit at our Porter Hall facility will feature the work of D. Raphael Failla, including a large sea serpent sculpture. It also includes historic pictorial representations and articles regarding sea serpents from around the globe.

First sited in Lake Erie in 1793 the legend of the sea serpent spread throughout the Eastern Coast. Serpents were spotted in Boston, Philadelphia, and New York. The legend grew with time and there was even speculation of more than one serpent existing!
