Event Description
Have you been reluctant to apply for another position because it will require leading a team or committee? Do you dread having to speak up at a department meeting? Do you hesitate to join a group because you don't like to talk in front of people you don't know well? Then Toastmasters might be just the answer.
The mission of Toastmasters is to provide the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth, by learning the arts of speaking, listening and thinking.
