SNYDER FIRE DEPARTMENT TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE
The Snyder Fire Department, 4531 Main Street, Snyder, will be holding its annual open house this year on Sunday, October 7th from 1 – 4pm. In addition to home and fire safety and firefighting equipment exhibits, there will also be information on residential sprinkler systems, fire extinguisher demonstrations and planning for family evacuations in case of fire, and establishing “Two Ways Out”. The Bull-Ex Safety Trailer will be there to provide fire safety education for the whole family. There will also be a live burn demonstration.
Also, firefighters will be available to discuss membership requirements and invite Snyder residents to volunteer to serve in this prestigious department.
