This free showcase will highlight how students can provide focused weather forecasts on media such as radio. It includes a tour of the Buffalo State Meteorology Lab, a presentation on the tools available to students for developing forecasting, and more. This event, which is open to the public, is one of many events celebrating the 30th anniversary of Buffalo’s Original Alternative 91.3 FM WBNY, and occurs in conjunction with the Year of the City theme at Buffalo State.
