Event Description
The Friends of the Lockport Public Library, Inc. will hold a “Fabulous Fall” Used Book Sale on October 12th and 13th in the Library’s Community Meeting Room. Hours of the book sale are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday, October 12th, and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 13th. Zoe Shufelt, chairperson of the event, notes that the sale “will feature good used books, VHS tapes, DVD’s, CD’s, children's materials and magazines at bargain prices”.
A pre-sale for members of the Friends of the Lockport Public Library will take place on Thursday, October 11th from 3 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join the Friends and shop during the pre-sale.
Proceeds are used to purchase new materials for the library and to sponsor programs of interest to the community.
