The Canisius College Master of Science of Sport Administration department will be holding the 10th annual Bowl N’ Blast to raise money for the Special Olympics of Western New York, on Sunday, April 29th, 2012 at 1:00pm. The Bowl N’ Blast will be held at Transit Lanes, in Williamsville. Athletes from the Special Olympics of Western New York will be featured as guests of honor.

Teams from four to six people can pre-register for 30 dollars per person, proceeds will benefit The Special Olympics of Western New York (donations are welcome). Participants of all ages and skill level are encouraged to enjoy the fun filled day. The registration fee will include soft drinks, pizza, and three hours of bowling and long lasting memories. Who goes bowling and does not have fun? Also throughout the day there will be raffles going around, small gifts given out to participants, and awards given out after the bowling has ended.
The graduate students coordinating the event are members of the Canisius Master of Science in Sport Administration program (MSA). The MSA students have successfully run Bowl N’ Blast for nine years and this year marks special number ten. Graduates from our sport administration program pursue careers in sport marketing, media relations, facility management, special event management and other sport related careers. They work for professional sport organizations, intercollegiate athletic departments, conferences, sport marketing firms, sports agencies and other organizations in the business of sport. The program is looking forward to celebrating the tenth anniversary with the Buffalo community.
