Wildlife Festival (September 22-23 10am – 5pm)
Co-sponsored by the Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs (NCFCC) the event features more than 50 environmental exhibitors, outdoor educators and wildlife rehabilitators participating. Learn how to make a difference in our environment, improving our planet both for wildlife and our neighbors. Annual favorites from reptiles to primates and birds of prey will be joined by new animals, shows and attractions scheduled throughout each day. Brownies, Cub Scouts, Boy and Girl Scouts can even earn a special Wildlife Festival badge. And when it’s time to satisfy your hunger, you can pick from local youth and not-for-profit groups hosting various concessions. The show goes on rain or shine! Guests are also invited to enjoy the Power Vista’s attractions, which include displays and interactive exhibits relating to the production of electricity, energy efficiency and the region’s history, while surrounded by spectacular views from the observation deck 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge. Parking and admission at the Power Vista, located at 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, is always free.
