Energize Your Holiday December 8 10am – 4pm photos with Santa 10am – 2pm
Deck the Halls at the Power Vista’s annual Deck the Halls holiday party, featuring a special guest appearance by Santa Claus. The day’s activities will run from 10 am to 4 pm and include, photos with Santa from 10 am to 2 pm plus craft-making with staff members from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP) musical performances and an informational exhibit on energy efficient lights with tips on celebrating a green holiday will also be featured. The Power Vista’s glass walkway will feature a dazzling display of artificial evergreen trees, adorned with energy efficient lights. The trees are decorated for the season by local non-profit groups and will be on display through Jan. 5, 2013. Guests are also invited to enjoy the Power Vista’s attractions, which include displays and interactive exhibits relating to the production of electricity, energy efficiency and the region’s history, while surrounded by spectacular views from the observation deck 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge. Parking and admission at the Power Vista, located at 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, is always free.
