Event Description
The Rotary Club of Amherst South will be holding a Health Fair on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 9:00am – Noon at the Windermere Blvd. School, 291 Windermere Blvd. in Eggertsville. The Health Fair is a FREE family event open to all and will feature free check-ups, blood pressure checks, cholesterol screening, oxygen checks and health screenings. Representatives with information on health topics such as mental health, cardiac health, stroke, women’s health, organ donation, wellness, health/fitness, nutrition and cooking will be on hand. Catholic Health System and Kaleida Health will also be present. FLU SHOTS will also be offered for $30 or with a major health insurance card. If you have no insurance card nor the means to pay for a shot, please contact Kathy Miller and the Amherst Youth And Recreation Dept, 631-7215 x 7638 by Nov. 1 for information on how to obtain a shot.
