Event Description
Labatt Blue Light, the Red Wings and 98.9 The Buzz, present a charity plastic ball and bat tournament to benefit Hillside Family of Agencies on Saturday, August 27 at Frontier Field. Registration is now open for 32 teams: 16 men’s and 16 co-ed teams of 10 people each. Participants must be 21 years old. The registration fee is $250 per team.
Check in is at 8 am Saturday, August 27 and the first game starts at 9 am. Participants will enjoy live entertainment. The team fee includes: a minimum of three games, plastic bats, plastic balls, umpires/score keepers, and awards for championship teams. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place.
Prizes for first place include: winning team honored at a Red Wings home game, throw out opening pitch for a Red Wings home game, tickets to a Red Wings home game, championship jerseys, and automatic entry into the 2012 tournament.
