Are you contemplating a knee or hip replacement? Joseph Falcone, MD, chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Sisters of Charity Hospital, a member of Catholic Health, will present a free evening program, “Is Knee or Hip Replacement Right for You,” on Tuesday, May 17 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Marillac Room at Sisters Hospital, located at 2157 Main Street in Buffalo.

According to the National Institute of Health, arthritis is responsible for more trouble walking and climbing stairs, and is the most common indicator for joint replacement surgery. This free program will cover everything you always wanted to know about total knee or hip replacement surgery and what to expect during the recovery phase and rehabilitation process.

This program is free and open to all. Registration is required. For more information or to register, call Catholic Health's HealthConnection at 447-6205.
