Sabres Alumni Charity Basketball Game to be Held at Lackawanna High School
On Wednesday, March 9th, the Buffalo Sabres Alumni will be taking on members of the Lackawanna City School District faculty and staff at Lackawanna High School located at 550 Martin Road. The event will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM with game time at 7:00 PM. Other activities include: autography signing, Chinese Auction, 50/50 drawing, as well as a musical performance before the game by the LHS Jazz and Chorus Ensembles. Concessions will also be available throughout the evening. Admission price for this event is $5.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at any of the Lackawanna City Schools.
All proceeds from this event will go to benefit the members of Joseph Faircloth’s family, whose life was suddenly and tragically ended on January 16, 2011 in an automobile accident. Joseph Faircloth and his family have poured their hearts and souls into the Lackawanna’s school community. Through this event, it is our goal to give back to the Faircloth family whom so tirelessly and willingly have given to us.
