Acclaimed black popular culture expert Mark Anthony Neal, Ph.D., will be the keynote speaker at an address commemorating the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. that will be held at Hilbert College. Neal’s discussion will bridge the gap of knowledge between the civil rights movement and the hip-hop generation, and also address King’s historical significance with current events. A book signing will follow Neal’s address, which is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
