Eating Disorders Information Night at EAHS December 2
The East Aurora Union Free School District will sponsor an Eating Disorders Information Night at East Aurora High School in room B151 on Thursday, December 2 at 7:00 PM. The panel format will feature local experts from the medical community, and is coordinated by the school district's Pupil Services and Health, Physical Education and Athletics Departments. The forum will be presented as a community service, there will be no cost to attend, and it will be open to all.
Panelists, accompanied by recovered victims of eating disorders, will discuss the signs of the disorders and provide resources for help. It is estimated that 8-10 million people in the United States suffer from eating disorders, the majority of them young women.
