ZOMBIE HORDE GATHERING
To capitalize on the Zombies on Third event, several area residents not affiliated with the Reg Lenna are coordinating a zombie walk knowing as the Zombie Horde Gathering. Anyone interested in taking part is asked to dress up as a zombie and simply show up between 9 and 9:15 p.m. at either the corner of Second and Pine Streets. At 9:20 p.m., participants will begin shambling with their zombie brothers and sisters up Pine or Spring Street until they reach Third St. Once you've reached 3rd Street, head toward the Reg Civic Center, where photos of the Zombie Horde gathering will be taken.
Organizers have also laid out several rules for participants to follow. Anyone taking part is asked to stay on the sidewalk. Zombies can groan, moan, growl, shuffle, and, most importantly, move slowly. Also, participating zombies shouldn’t touch anyone non-zombies, just walk by them.
