The Super Seven Athlete of the Week for February 10th is Crystle Marion of St. Mary's School for the Deaf. With a 26-point performance in a game against Park, Crystle set a new Western New York scoring record, giving her 2,432 career points.
"It felt very exciting and I felt very humble inside," said Marion. "It means a lot to me to show people that I am deaf and deaf people can be the same as everyone else."
St. Mary's Head Coach Bryan Booke said: "Crystle is a really special player and I've been coaching her for a real long time, including the time when she was in elementary school, not just at the varsity level. I knew from the time that I started coaching her that she was special. She has the ability to be a really dominant player."
