Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- Parent Network of WNY, a nonprofit agency devoted to helping parents and professionals make it possible for individuals with disabilities to reach their own potential and be successful, will celebrate its 25th anniversary in September.

To celebrate this 25th anniversary, Parent Network has planned several events and fundraisers throughout the year.

These events include two dining out fundraisers: September 12, 2011 at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and January 24, 2012 at Betty’s, in Buffalo from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Parent Network will receive 10 percent of all dinner proceeds when you dine at these restaurants on the given dates.

In November, Parent Network will host its annual Harvest Honors Conference. The Conference will be held November 3, 2011 at the Hearthstone Manor located at 333 Dick Road in Depew. Keynote speaker Dr. Ross Greene will present "Collaborative Problem Solving: a more accurate, compassionate, productive understanding of behaviorally challenged children.”

The following evening, November 4, 2011, Parent Network will host their annual Harvest Honors Awards and Cocktail Reception. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Parent Network’s office located at 1000 Main Street in Buffalo and will feature a theme basket raffle. Awards will be presented to an individual and an organization that have had a positive impact on the disability community.
