(Press Release, July 11, 2012) – PGA officials are thrilled to announce a major turnout of golf enthusiasts have registered for pre-sale ticket opportunities and volunteer positions for the 95th PGA Championship. The Season’s Final Major is coming to Oak Hill Country Club, August 5-11, 2013.
On Monday, June 25, 2012, the ticket pre-sale and volunteer registration process for the 95th PGA Championship opened, giving registrants first notice of ticket sale details and exclusive information regarding Championship tickets and volunteer opportunities.
“To date, we have more than 8,500 registrants for the ticket pre-sale registration,” said 95th PGA Championship Director Ryan Cannon. “Fans from 47 states and 18 countries have registered for tickets and volunteer positions “This is a true testament to the affinity this community and fans around the world have for the game of golf.”
Only 27,000 tickets are available for each day of the 95th PGA Championship. The PGA of America’s pre-sale registration process gives fans ample time to secure their attendance. The ticket pre-sale registration period is open through Sunday, July 22, 2012. Fans can register by going to the Tickets section of www.pgachampionship.com. Registration is free and there is no obligation to purchase tickets.

“Of the 3,500 volunteer positions available, only 240 remain on two committees,” said Cannon. “Volunteer committee assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
