Amherst, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- After touring Experienced Bricks in Amherst on Tuesday, New York Congresswoman Kathy Hochul announced that the Western New York company would be expanding its business and will be hiring up to 20 full-time employees in the coming months.

“The expansion of Experienced Bricks is great news for not only the company, but for the entire Western New York community,” Hochul said in a news release. “These good paying jobs will stay right here in Western New York, while expanding a business that combines innovative ideas with environmentally friendly practices.”

“What is particularly gratifying for me is that we are able to create local jobs when we reclaim the materials that may otherwise be sent to a landfill and then other companies employ more local folks when they install them in their projects,” added Scott Smith, General Manager of Experienced Bricks.

The new jobs will all be full-time positions, and are laborer positions, in addition to two heavy equipment operators, and one salesperson.
