Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- Shea’s Performing Arts Center and Mulberry Italian Ristorante on Wednesday announced their partnership and the opening of the new “Della Mostra” restaurant, formerly the Intermission Lounge, at 658 Main Street, located next door to the Shea’s Ticket Office.
The public opening is set for January 25.
Under a new agreement with Mulberry Co-Owner Joe Jerge, “Della Mostra” will offer some familiar classics on the menu but the bulk of offerings will be regional Italian dishes with an upscale slant. The format will be trendy “small plates” in addition to some traditional Italian entrees.
The restaurant will continue to serve patrons attending shows at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre and Shea’s Smith Theatre with entrances from Main Street and both theatres. It will be open two hours prior to show time for dinner and during intermission for cocktails.
“Della Mostra” will also be among the catering options available to those looking to book their event at Shea’s or the Smith Theatre.
“I am excited, eager, and grateful for the opportunity to be a component of an experience at Shea’s” said Jerge. “Our hope is that we can effectively combine the comfort and ambiance of the Mulberry, along with some familiar and new twists on the food, with the illustrious reputation of Shea’s to add to the anticipation and excitement of attending a show."
