Mayville, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- The Chautauqua Marine will host three events this month as boating season gets into full swing.
On Saturday, June 11, National Marina Day, National Fishing and Boating Week and National Get Outdoors "Go" Day will be observed. Free boat safety checks will be provided by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and free boating tips and New York State Navigation Laws will also be made available.
On Thursday, June 23 from 7-8 p.m., a free fishing seminar for adults and children entitled "Muskies Chautauqua" and presented by Mike Sperry will be held. Registration is limited to the first 50 persons. All children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 716-753-3913.
On Sunday, June 26 a Safe Boating Class will be held for ages 10-adult. The program begins at 9:30 a.m. To pre-register, email email@example.com or go to www.chautauquamarina.com. The class meets all requirements for the New York Safe Boating Program.
