BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- A special ceremony was held Friday morning for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in Buffalo, marking its 150 year anniversary. "To celebrate... to give thanks to God, glory to God for all that has been accomplished for these people who have been here and served here over those many many decades," Buffalo Bishop Edward Kimic said.

Founded in 1861, the school has become a successful college preparatory school for young men grades 9 through 12 and has more than 750 students. "Should be very grateful for the past but nevertheless whenever we say thanks for what was, it's fine to say there's something we can look forward to in the future," Bishop Kimic said.
