TAMPA, FL (WKBW/ESPN) - Former Riverside High School standout and current rookie with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mike Williams was arrested Friday morning and charged with DUI, ESPN reports.
Williams, who played his college football at Syracuse University, had a blood alcohol level below the limit of .08, but was allegedly speeding and weaving in traffic.
The 23-year-old also submitted a urine test, though results of that test could take four to six weeks.
"We are in the process of gathering all the facts," Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik said in a statement released by the team. "Mike has been very cooperative."
Williams currently leads all rookie receivers with 40 catchers for 627 yards and 5 touchdowns.
