BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced the team has signed unrestricted free agent forward Jason Crosbie to a one-year contract pending league approval.
Crosbie (6/25/1975, 5’11”, 200 lbs.) returns to Buffalo, after spending five seasons with the Bandits from 2003-07. Crosbie recorded 14 points (6+8) and 25 loose balls in 7 games with Philadelphia last season. The 35-year-old Crosbie now has 397 career points (142+255) and has collected 655 loose balls in 134 games with Buffalo, Rochester, Montreal, Arizona, Toronto and Philadelphia. He posted career highs in goals (25), points (60) and loose balls (103) with Buffalo in 2003.
A native of Bowmanville, Ont., Crosbie plays in the summer for the Peterborough Lakers in Major Series Lacrosse, and also serves as head coach of the Clarington Green Gaels in the Ontario Junior “B” Lacrosse League.
