BUFFALO, NY - (WKBW) The Buffalo Bandits' 20th season ended without their all-time leading scorer on the field. John Tavares was held out against the Toronto Rock in the East Final because of a leg injury. The Bandits lost 12-11.

Kyle Clancy was a late addition to the Buffalo lineup after Tavares was scratched. Clancy dazzled the home crowd, scoring four goals. Roger Vyse added a hat trick for the Bandits.

Stephan Leblanc and Garrett Billings tallied hat tricks for Toronto.

The Bandits fell behind six-nothing 2:12 into the second quarter. Buffalo would make it a 7-6 game and trail 9-6 at halftime.

The Bandits would score the game's final four goals to pull within one.

Toronto goaltender Bob Watson made 35 saves, including two huge stops to protect the 12-11 lead.

Bandits goalie Mike Thompson allowed six goals on 23 shots before being pulled for Angus Goodleaf.
