BOSTON, MASS. - (WKBW) The Buffalo Bandits beat the Boston Blazers on Sunday 9-8.
John Tavares netted three goals and an assist for Buffalo. Mark Steenhuis added a pair of goals for the Bandits.
Buffalo held an 8-4 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but four Blazer goals in the final frame allowed them to tie the score. The Bandits' Clay Hill provided the game-winner with four minutes left in regulation.
The Bandits now take over second place in the East Division with a 6-3 record. The Blazers fall to 6-4.
The two teams play each other again on Saturday, March 12th.
