The Amber Alert for a 3-year-old boy from Elmira, New York has been cancelled and the boy is found safe and sound. Four people have been taken into custody.

Jacob Ryan Davila was taken from his home just before 5:30 p.m. by an acquaintance of his mother. An Amber Alert was issued and Elmira police and other agencies began to search. He was found just shortly after 10 a.m.at the Microtel on Lehigh Station Road in Henrietta, just outside Rochester.

Authorities said a concerned citizen saw the red car that was described in the Amber Alert and followed it to the motel. They then called 911. When police arrived they found the boy at the motel with the alleged suspect, identified as 26 year old Quentin Singletary of Rochester. Two females in their 20s were also in the hotel room and are being questioned in this kidnapping.

Police say Singletary is a short term acquaintance of the child's mother and during an altercation Tuesday, the suspect kidnapped the 3 year old and stole the mother's vehicle.
