The Made in America store just opened three months ago in Elma and it's already planning an expansion. This weekend, owner Mark Andol will unveil an additional 1,800 square feet of retail space. It's the first phase of a two part expansion planned for this summer. The store will host a party Saturday and is open on July 4th as well. Andol says the growth is in response to the incredible feedback he has gotten and worldwide media attention. The store is even attracting tour buses, thanks to the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The National Retail Federation expects summer promotions to drive consumers into stores this weekend. 16% of consumers plan to buy new patriotic merchandise, up from 14% last year. Researchers say gas prices won't hinder travel this year. The NRF says 62 percent of adults will celebrate the holiday the traditional way, by attending or hosting a cookout or barbeque. 42 percent will watch fireworks. 12% will attend a parade. 11.5% will take a vacation.
