Deer Cause Two Serious Motorcycle Accidents, One Fatal

Deer have been the cause of two serious motorcycle accidents in Western New York this weekend, one of them fatal.

Fifty three year old Stephen Grandillo of Clarence, NY was killed when he struck a deer and was thrown from his motorcycle on Lapp Road in the Town Of Clarence at approximately 10:30p.m. Saturday night.

Then, just before 1:30a.m. Sunday morning, fifty one year old James Boyer of Gasport, NY was thrown from his bike after hitting a deer on South Quaker Road in the Town Of Hartland near Becker Farms.

Boyer was taken to E.C.M.C by Mercy Flight where he is currently listed in critical condition.
