The Flying Bison Brewing Company is celebrating its re-birth this weekend. Buffalo's only distributing commercial brewery was closed for six months because of legal matters that had to be resolved before the new owners took over. It's back in business at 491 Ontario Street now though and brewery workers celebrated on Saturday by taking part in a benefit for "Green Options Buffalo", an organization that works toward creating a more environmentally-friendly and walkable community.

The re-born brewery employs four people as of now. "Like everybody else I'm sick of hearing the story of jobs leaving Buffalo," says Tim Herzog, one of the four brewery workers, "So we pushed through anything we had to push through to keep these jobs here. Four jobs might not sound like a lot but it's four more than we would've had if we had folded up our tent and gone away."

The new Flying Bison beer will be available in bars and stores starting next month.
