Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) - Buffalo developer Rocco Termini is one happy man, " I am the happiest I have ever been," he says.
A hurdle-- Termini said has long stood in the way of his proposed projects to revamp old historic downtown buildings-- has been cleared.
Changes to New York's Historic Tax Credit have been passed by lawmakers.
Those changes essentially close financial gaps making it easier for developers to restore old buildings.
Buildings, like the Hotel Lafayette.
It has stood in disrepair for years-- but now it's getting new life!
But while the state is being cheered for that move-- another change, to another tax incentive program, has some people very concerned.
