BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- South Buffalo is planning a hero's welcome home for native son Patrick Kane.

The NHL superstar dazzled his hometown Wednesday night after scoring the winning goal in Philadelphia, claiming the Stanley Cup for his Chicago Blackhawks.

"We would like to honor him in some way whether it's a parade some type of recognition where people can get together and share in his success," said South District Buffalo Common Councilman Mickey Kearns.
