Police Identify Homicide Victims

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW / release) -- Police have identified the victims of the city's two latest homicides, which occurred on Wednesday, June 9th.

The body of 26 year old Jerry Lee Davis Jr. was discovered Wednesday morning around 7:30AM. The victim was found near an abandoned house on Schuele Avenue, between Northland and Scajaquada. The victim may have been killed sometime overnight, prior to the discovery of the body.

Northwest District police responded to a shooting call last night at
approximately 9:42PM in the Schaffer Village Apartments, and discovered 21 year old Fernando Vega had been shot to death. The victim was found in the Courtyard of West Lane, within the housing complex.

Both of these victims died as a result of being shot, and the Buffalo
Homicide Squad is seeking any information into these incidents.
