BATAVIA, NY (WKBW) -- Two people face charges of public lewdness after being accused of having sex in a Batavia park in plain view of adults and children.
The female, 41-year-old Suzanne Corona, was also charged with adultery, a law that Genesee County officials say has been on the books for years.
Court papers reveal that Corona told police that her husband was a trans-gender, and while appearing in court Tuesday, denied that she and her partner were having sex.
The police officer who responded to call says he witnessed Corona and 29-year-old Justin Amend engaged in a sexual act.
Corona and her husband addressed the media at court Tuesday. Amend and Corona face public lewdness charges, while Corona also faces adultery charges, both of which are misdemeanors.
