BUFFALO, NY (WKBW/UB) -- Biologists from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) climbed to the peregrine falcon nest box on MacKay tower at University of Buffalo's South campus where they carefully banded and examined the three recently hatched peregrine falcon chicks.

Officials also announced the names of the baby chicks, which were chosen from submitted suggestions sent in from members of the community.

The three male falcons have been given the names of Harry, Ron and Hermionie.
