It's one of the most popular television series of all time. "It's a very thought provoking show! I've never had such intense conversations with people regarding it before. I've had arguments with people where I actually walk away angry, which I've never done for movies, T.V. anything else," said Paul McGinnis who follows the show.

Over the past six years self-professed "Lost geeks" have gone to great lengths to make sure they didn't miss an episode. "I have missed parties, I have missed other things I'm supposed to do, I've lied," confessed viewer Kathy Murphy.

But it all came to an end tonight with a two-and-a-half hour series finale. At watch parties, fans pulled out all the stops with decorations and even dressed up as their favorite characters. Many say they don't know what they'll do on Tuesday nights anymore.
