Warehouse Fire In Lockport

CITY OF LOCKPORT, NY ( from Lockport Sun & Journal )Firefighters responded to a working structure fire at a warehouse on Michigan Street between South Niagara Street and Park Avenue in the City of Lockport on Sunday night.

According to witnesses the fire started around 8 p.m. at a building that houses two businesses, one of which is believed to be Seasons Lawn Service, with flames and smoke billowing high from the structure when the blaze was at its peak.

The City of Lockport Fire Department declared a general alarm, which calls in all the department’s off-duty personnel, and the South Lockport Volunteer Fire Company was called to the scene with an aerial truck and pumper. Wright’s Corners firefighters were also on scene with an aerial truck.
