Crimestoppers Seeks Public Help

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Erie County Crimestoppers is looking for help from the public in the investigation into an attempted vehicle arson.

The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13 on Park Street in the Village of Springville.

A 9-1-1 call was received reporting a loud bang at 5:32 a.m. The Springville Fire Department and Sheriff patrols responded, and found the remains of a small, homemade type of incendiary device underneath a vehicle that was parked in the driveway.

The was no fire and damage to the vehicle was minimal.
