Buffalo, NY (WKBW) -- A civil lawsuit filed in federal court accuses three Buffalo Police officers of using excessive force against two teenagers last summer.

The officers named in the complaint are Gregory Kwiatkowski, Joseph Wendel and Raymond Krug.

The City of Buffalo and Buffalo Police Department are also named as defendants in the complaint.

The lawsuit, filed by the teenagers' parents, accuses the officers of violating the constitutional rights of the teens.

The two boys were arrested on May 31, 2009, according to the complaint, after they were allegedly caught firing BB guns.

One of the officers is accused of injuring one of the teens by firing a BB gun at him.
