For the second night in a row an abandoned warehouse goes up in flames. This time it happened in the city of Batavia.
Firefighters worked into the night Saturday to get the flames under control at the Wiard Plow Company building at 33 Swan Street before it spread to other buildings. The fire started around 7:45 Saturday night. The brick warehouse is attached to other structures. Several other area fire companies have been called in to assist. So far, there is no word of any injuries.
