Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Drawing attention to the problem of child abuse was the focus of a peaceful rally in downtown Buffalo Wednesday. The Citizen's Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect
organized the march, and were joined by countless organizations through the community. The mission today was to make sure every child lives in a safe and nurturing home, and are not subjected to violence and neglect.

"This is an issue for everyone in the community, every family member, every relative, every neighbor, every friend," said Deputy Commissioner for Erie County's Department of Social Services William Graham. "We all play a role in this issue and all play a part in protecting our children in the community."
