A Fredonia teenager has disappeared without a trace and now his family is asking for help finding the young man. The last confirmed sighting of Bobby Raynor, 19, was around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. One of his neighbors in the Fredonia Manufactured Housing Park on West Main Street captured Raynor on his security camera. The police now have that tape but the neighbor described for Eyewitness News what the video shows.
"He disappeared into the grape vineyard and then he turned around and came back about 45 minutes later back through the park I would say, and then he turned around and left again," says Robert North, who lives next door to Bobby Raynor. North says the tape shows Raynor leaving the trailer park on foot.
Raynor is approximately 6'0", 160 lbs., with brown eyes and brown curly hair. He was last seen wearing a gray or dark-colored hoodie, blue jeans, and gray sneakers. "He didn't have anything else with him. No book bags or anything," says Robert Raynor, Bobby's father.
Robert Raynor says it's not like his son to just take off. "(He) always came back home or called and said 'I'm at a friends house' or 'I'm at the store' or something. Always gave an explanation of where he was," says Raynor.
The teenager's father says Bobby suffers from schizophrenia and had just switched to a new medication. "As far as I know he only took the medicine that one day, doesn't have any more, doesn't have it with him," says Raynor.
Police are searching for clues and say at this point there's nothing to suggest there was any foul play. The young man's parents just want to know that he is safe. "I would like to tell Bobby 'I love you and I'd like you to come back'," says Robert Raynor.
