OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (WKBW) -- It was 15 years ago Monday that Western New York native Timothy McVeigh detonated rental truck that demolished the north side of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
The blast killed 168 people, including 19 children, and injured more than 600 others.
McVeigh and his accomplice Terry Nichols were convicted in 1997. Nichols got life in prison while McVeigh was executed in 2001.
Memorial services took place Monday morning in Oklahoma City for the victims of the 1995 attack.
