BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Here are some of the top stories from Good Morning Western New York.

An early morning fire at a business in Niagara Falls had crews working through most of the morning. The call went out around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning when crews were called to the LaSalle Laundromat. Officials say damage is extensive.

A young man is in critical condition after smashing his motorcycle in to a car overnight. 20-year-old Ronald Register was taken by Mercy Flight after his motorcycle hit a vehicle that was backing in to a driveway on Military Road in the Town of Niagara.

Lawmakers head back to Albany today to work on the already 19 day late budget. Governor Paterson has already been forced to enact two emergency spending plans and cut billions of dollars in state aid to a number of agencies and department.
