NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW) -- It's something you normally don't see in front of a motel but the owner of the Falls Motel on Buffalo Avenue says it's normal to find hub caps scattered along the road. "We get a collection of them," Charles Knoll, the owner of the motel, said.

Knoll says it's because the street has so many large potholes so car parts come off and end up on his property. Those who live in the area aren't too happy about the bumpy ride everyday either and agree with Knoll that it needs to be fixed. "Tears up my tires, had to fix my tire one time... it's like riding a roller coaster," one resident said.

"Get emergency funds to fix this road as soon as possible," Knoll said.

The city says the project to fix the road and some sidewalks, is already in place but that money won't be available for this section for another couple of years. But there will be small improvements done in the meantime.
