BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Everyone in Buffalo City Hall was evacuated soon after an anonymous bomb threat was called in about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday morning.
People waited in Niagara Square for around two hours as bomb sniffing dogs went through every floor. Police say they didn't find anything and everyone was allowed back into the building around 11:40am. Police say the bomb threat doesn't appear to be directed at anyone.
This is the second bomb threat this week in downtown Buffalo. There was a bomb threat call to Ellicott Square on Tuesday.
The Buffalo Police Department says it takes these threats very seriously and there could be charges filed.
