SUNY has New Marketing Plan

The SUNY system has a new marketing plan called "the power of SUNY." It was rolled out in New York City and will be officially unveiled in Buffalo at the end of the month. School officials call the program economic development roadmap and say SUNY will drive New York's economy through its size, scale and capacity of the system.

The Buffalo Bisons welcomed fans back to Coca Cola Field today and they found many changes. Park officials say they made concession changes based on fan feedback. The Bisons have increased in-stadium concession outlets by 20 percent, adding 15 points of sale in the concourses. The goal is to get the food to the fans quicker so they can get back to their seats quicker. Last year, the Bisons finished last in the International League. The Bisons saw 8,027 per game.

Western New York charities can benefit from a program called "50 Beds in 50 Days." Metro Mattress is accepting applications from charitable organizations in Buffalo seeking new beds. Metro will donate 50 beds this spring and summer. You can find a link with more information at
