WEST SENECA, NY (WKBW) -- There was standing room only at Thursday night's West Seneca Town Board meeting, where officials discussed plans to construct subsidized senior housing on the former site of Houghton College.

Young Development Inc. wants to build two buildings housing 175 apartments, a portion of which will be subsidized by HUD.

Residents are concerned over the location of the project, which would occupy valuable real estate in the town.

Town Officials have yet to make a decision on the project.
