CHEEKTOWAGA, NY ( WKBW ) The Feds raided Rick's Tally-Ho in Cheektowaga and 24-Karat in Hamburg several weeks ago, both strip clubs that investigators say were involved in illegal drugs and prostitution.

Officials yanked their liquor license. So now the clubs fall under a different set of rules. Minus the alcohol, club owners can change the age limit from 21 to 18 and up. And dancers can now perform completely nude.

Tom Adamczak is the supervising Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Cheektowaga, "It was previously alcoholic beverages and topless dancing now its non-alcoholic and totally nude dancing."

Rick's Tally-Ho was first in line to make the switch. Last week owners completed documents to drop the age limit....and clothing requirement.
"I'm shocked (laughs), I'm shocked!" says Sandy Wojcik a local resident.

Residents say they don't want this happening their backyard.
"I mean I was so glad to hear that they weren't going to be getting their liquor license back and I personally don't think that it's proper for them to do that," says Wojcik.

Marsha Schulz also a local resident said,"Because I know the history of especially Rick's Tally-Ho, no I wouldn't want any of my grandsons or kids going in there."

But in business it's all about the bottom line. "Although he'll lose with the lack of alcohol sales, he can now cater to the 18 to 21 crowd that couldn't enter before," stated Adamczak.

We contacted the owner of Rick's Tally-Ho but they did not wish to comment. If the club regains their liquor licenses they'll have to go back to the 21 and over age limit and clothing requirements.
