A Metro Bus slammed into a home after colliding with a van in Buffalo late this afternoon.
The bus knocked down a traffic signal pole, sheered off a fire hydrant and damaged a gas main, according to Buffalo Fire Department officials.
It happened just after 2:30 at the corner of Michigan Ave. and E. Utica St.
The bus driver and two people in the van were transported to the hospital for minor injuries, said Battalion Chief Jim Hayes.
The bus was not carrying any passengers.
A city engineer is inspecting the home for stability. A portion of the foundation was damaged upon impact.
